English Springer Spaniel Welfare was formed in 1990 and is both recognised by the Kennel Club and is a registered charity. It is run by volunteers, all of whom own or have owned English Springers.
Our area co-ordinators cover the South of England from Gloucestershire across to Suffolk, down to Cornwall and South East Wales, and over to Kent.

We are a small group of Springer enthusiasts. We aim to care for and re-home as many un-wanted, stray or neglected Springer Spaniels as we can as well as proving advice and support to current owners. Despite our title we willingly help other types of Spaniels plus cover a much larger geographical area and will not base decisions solely on the location of either a dog needing our assistance or a possible home for one of our current dogs.

JSR was started in January 2008 with the aim of rehoming Springer Spaniels to good approved homes.
To help and advise owners with problems with their Springer Spaniels and especially, where appropriate, to aid an owner to keep their dog rather than rehome it, .

he NESSR family is a growing group of unpaid volunteers from all walks of life and all around the country who share a love of dogs – spaniels in particular but not exclusively. Each member, in their own way, helps Cynthia help spaniels up and down the country.
Amongst the many ways to help are home checking, transport runs, maintaining the website and forum, manning a stall at a local event, fostering, assessing, supporting families through those all important first few days with their new family member, collecting used stamps, sending a bag of dog food, a treat, a toy or a lead or, of course, the all important donation of funds to help NESSR continue its work!
